cemetary

(post written in May 2019 as I finally get around to finishing these posts)

The morning of our last day was spent at the famous Pere Lachaise cemetary which was close to where we were staying.

We didn't have time to hunt down all the famous people, but we did find Pissaro, Chopin, and Pierre Desporges (a French comedian that G likes), mostly by accident. It's a big place, with a lot of impressive gravestones/tombs/things.

The flight home was delayed by 2 or 3 hours due to weather in Toulouse... it turned out that it was just as well that we sat at Orly for a while being bored, since one of G's coworkers was on an earlier flight that ended up getting rerouted to somewhere in Spain and they got bussed to Toulouse the next day.
