After a breakfast of pancakes shared with a small child and my friend, the four of us (if you count Lani the dog) went down to the river visible from my friend's back porch.
It's quite pretty down there. Lani enjoyed chasing sticks in the water. The small child sat down at the edge of the water. I helped throw sticks.
Back at the house, we knitted, had lunch, and then went into town to acquire some groceries for planned meals. Dinner was a lamb roast, which was pretty tasty.
